Madeira Wine Festival 2007/Tinta Negra Mole
The introduction to the caste was done in the XVIII century and it was the newest acquisition of the noble Madeira wines. This caste is the most important one concerning the mixture phase of the Madeira wines.
This type of vine is part of the biggest total production of grapes in Madeira and it comes from gathering two types of vineyard the Pinot Noire and the Grenache.
With this project we attracted tourists and visitors to the Av.Arriaga to try our delicious Madeira Wine.
Gala Reids 500 Years Of Funchal City
The commemoration dinner for the 500 years of Funchal city took place at the Reid´s hotel, where The Dream flowers by Isabel Borges girls dressed with the 2008 Madeira Flower Festival costumes welcomed the guests. From 2008 to 2013 the Funchal city hall was our group´s sponsor.
RTP1 “Portugal No Coração” TV Program
Invited by RTP1 the Dream flowers by Isabel Borges girls, dressed with the 2008 Madeira Flower Festival costumes, were invited to participate at the “Portugal at the heart” program allusive to the arrival of Spring, recorded at the Praca do Municipio in Funchal and presented by Joao Baiao e Tania Ribas de Oliveira.
Flower Ball 2007/Estoril Palace Hotel
In 2007, the group of Madeira flower festival was invited for the third time to shine on the renowned Flower Ball that takes place in the Estoril Palace Hotel.
This solidarity event, organized by Gilda Paredes Alves, is part of the Ball calendar events of Europe.
The girls of the group were responsible for welcoming 300 guests and the opening performance of the ball. The success of the Flower Ball was a lot due to the harmony and beauty that these girls transmitted, promoting in this solidarity way the Flower Festival event in Lisbon.
Madeira Island Open 2007
Madeira Island Open is a European calendar competition, gathering annually the best practitioners of the genre. In 2007, the winner was Daniel Vancsik, a native Argentine, which we had the honor to cover the event with the beauty and the sympathy of our charismatic figurants of our group from Madeira Flower festival.
Opening Madeira Stadium
In 2007 The Dream flowers by Isabel Borges girls participated at the Madeira stadium opening, being the Nacional sports club one of the sponsors for the Madeira Flower Festival group with the “flowers of the sun” project at the Madeira Flower Festival.
