Madeira Flower Festival 2013/Paixão Colorida

At this year’s Flower Festival Parade I decided to celebrate it by having a giant red heart filled with Anthuriums bringing out love and affection because that is the way we, Madeira natives, receive all visitors who come to our magnificent Island.

As simple as it may appear this is the reason why tourists come back to Madeira Island, because they are received with love and affection. Having this in mind it is true to say that nobody hosts as well as we do and it is through our actions and the way that we welcome people that this Island is considered a great place to visit.

It may not be because of the green hills, the fantastic blue sea, or even the exotic unique flowers or the catching mild temperature that brings to us so many visitors year after year, but it is most definitely because of our loving character that makes tourists wanting to come back over and over again! It is a friendly gift from us, who are glad to use it, to those who are lucky to receive it.

People only return to places where they are accepted with love and kindness. And is there better joy than to make people wanting to return to this beautiful Island? It is a dazzling place to live in, which is the reason why many foreign eventually choose to do so.

This year we have received all visitors in an even more special way, with warm colors where red is considered the most powerful color of them all.

AITO – Associação Independente de Operadores Turísticos Britânicos

In December/2013 the AITO – Associação Independente de Operadores Turísticos Britânicos, in a delighting operation in the Forte de São Tiago where some of the figurants from our group of Madeira flower festival, received all the guests with charming flowers and with their usual sympathy in the presence of the Tourism’s Director of Portugal in London, Mr. Filipe Silva.

In June 2012, the Funchal City Council, joined with several hotel groups in order to create a gastronomic event where they invited some French chefs in order to enhance the event making known some of their specialties whit some of regional products. These Images are from Reid’s Hotel, where the figurants of our group from Madeira flower festival where invites to embellish the gardens distributing endearment and smiles between the guests.

Madeira Island Open 2012

Madeira Island Open is a European calendar competition, gathering annually the best practitioners of the genre. In 2012 we had the honor to cover the event with the beauty and the sympathy of our charismatic figurants of our group from Madeira festival flower.
The images of this event were disclosed by the British operators and its feedback was highly positive, contributing for a better and a greater promotion of Madeira Island.

Atlântida 2012/RTP Madeira Program

The Dream Flowers by Isabel Borges girls, dressed with the Madeira Flower Festival 2012 costumes, were invited to participate at the Atlantida program live recorded at the Funchal city.

In June 2012 on the AITO conference, Associação Independente de Operadores Turísticos Britânicos, in a delighting operation in the Forte de São Tiago where some of Dream Flowers by Isabel Borges figurants, dressed with some dresses from the Madeira flower festival, the “Gloriosa” project, received 170 guests with charming flowers and with their usual sympathy in the presence of the Tourism’s Director of Portugal in London, Mr. Filipe Silva.
